the studio door
Here in the frozen North we have enjoyed (?) record breaking weather the past two weeks. The coldest cold, the most snow, the most moisture for November… and records are still being broken. I’m not going to bore you or myself with the statistics or details, but I have shoveled more snow in the last few days than I did all of last year.
This is what I see looking East from my studio door. Looking North, the sunflower heads appear to have a foot of snow sitting on them.
On this side of the studio door, more small work is being finished and photographed.

All that snow would make me want to focus, too. Indoors. Beautiful if you never have to leave the house and go driving somewhere. Bleh. Stay warm and – yes, focused on your art.
