Blog

it’s been a long two months

The sun is out, the gardens are in full color and I am putting one foot in front of the other for the first time since a month ago. April flew by with deadlines and things that had to be managed. In early May, my husband’s lab tests came back with bad numbers, nasty spikes. He had a CT scan, then went for one procedure and then another (both failed), then into the hospital as a comfort and care patient. He died on May 14. The chemo had stopped working after 6 months and one week.

So many of you have been incredibly supportive over this long while. My deepest gratitude for your warm thoughts, the cards and notes. You will never know what a difference it has made. Thank you.

My plan is to tend to business, catch up here (so much slides away) and be back in the studio and online June 15.

See you then!
